In conjunction with our friends at the Outside World, we will add water to this wine and wheels for women! We will start at the Island on the Riverwalk and paddle our way down to Bull Dog Bait and Tackle. From there we will ride our bikes back to the shop for a social wine hour. Kayaks and bikes will be provided if needed. Registration will open 1 week prior to the event. We can't wait!
This is the perfect race for beginners. This 500 meter event starts at 730am July 15 in Uptown Columbus with a time trial start down our water slide (one athlete at a time) down river in depths no greater than six feet. Duathletes start with a one-mile run. The 12- mile bike route is flat and travels through historic Columbus. Finish this race up with a flat 5k run and a water slide at the finish line! There are plenty of places along the route for family and friends to cheer, and you’ll find family friendly activities throughout Uptown Columbus, bouncy castles and an open market.

This is a great race to gauge your fitness level or transition from a sprint and half distance race. The swim is a two loop, 500 meter, down river swim in depths no greater than six feet. Duathletes start with a two-mile run. The bike route is smooth and flat, and the run route will take you along the scenic Phenix City Riverwalk and into historic Columbus. The Chattahoochee Challenge Olympic Triathlon starts at 730am August 12.

We are excited for third annual Chattahoochee Challenge Adventure Race of our Race Series. This event is open to all levels and requires minimal orienteering/map reading skills. So grab a friend or two and make a team up to 3 persons. (Solo racing is not recommended)
The distances this year will be 4 Hour Adventure Race in the Uptown and Riverwalk areas. Competitors will begin the race by choosing a colored marble to determine which discipline they will begin with - trek/run, whitewater raft, or bike. Teams will navigate their way through the course using plotting and mapping techniques, checking off points as they progress. We will be starting with a whitewater portion and include the new Zipline course for extra points.
*Teams will begin by drawing a colored marble to determine with leg of the race they will begin at after this leg is completed they may choose the remainder legs.
-Trekking/Running/Hiking x2 (total distance to equal 5-6 miles) -Biking (total distance 10-12 miles)-Please provide your own bike (any type).

Ride Of Silence - The annual Ride Of Silence will be taking place at 6pm from the Columbus Museum. The purpose of this ride is to raise awareness for cyclists on the road. This is a NATIONAL event and shops across the USA will be conducting rides at the same time. This ride will be conducted in silence, police escorted, and is approximately 8 miles at a slow pace through MidTown/city streets. It is fairly family friendly for your older kids and a video to be shown at the end about rider safety.

We really can't stress the importance of this event enough, especially given the two recent bicycle related deaths. Please mark this evening on your calendar and help raise bicycle awareness in our community.
